Heart of Gold is a 1986 Jefferson Cockpit Motor Yacht. She is 48' long and is powered by twin 200HP Perkins Diesels. Her owners and operators, Greg and Jane Bowers, intend to spend some of their retirement years cruising around meeting new people and having new experiences.
We thought once the kids graduated from college we would be free to go on our big adventure. Don't know what we were thinking. Maybe once the kids get settled, take over the business, Greg stops working, our retirement fund comes back, my mom figures out what she is doing...need I say more? Anyway one day it is going to happen but for now this is it.
